Flight period: Adults are active mid-spring to fall, passing through two generations during this time.
Hostplants: The larva of Milbert's Tortoiseshell feeds on a variety of nettles (Urtica species - Urticaceae).
Habitat: Typically seen in moist upland areas, especially riparian areas and montane meadows.
