Flight period: Adults are active from March to June. Hostplants: The hostplants of the Brown Elfin include a wide variety of plants, most of which are in the Heath family (Ericaeae). Habitat: The Brown Elfin can be found flying through hills and montane habitats. Distribution: They are found throughout woodland North America, including California. |
