Size: wingspread 1-1.5 in.
Recognition: Gray- brown; FW has a few white spots above and below; underside lighter.
Flight period: Adults are active from July to October.
Hostplants: A variety of grasses are eaten by the larvae.
Habitat: Sunny, exposed places such as fields, and open areas in urban settings are good places to see the Eufala Skipper.
Distribution: Throughout the southern U.S., south into Mexico.
Other: Adults commonly seen around flowers.
